BiT higher Official visited Tana Beles Hydropower Station on Wednesday, 18 Feb, 2015. The Deputy Scientific Director,All School Directors, and other higher officials of the insititute were participated in the visit. During the visit, there were discussion with Tana Beles Hydropower Plant higher officials on collaboration, partnership and capacity building training.
The Tana Beles Plant manager stated that they need capacity building training in basic computer, and in PLC. He also said that they need the MSc program in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He asked the university to prepare this training for them.
The Deputy Scientific director, Ass. Prof Yonas Mitiku stated that the institute is very interested to aspire the collaboration and partnership further and the institute will arrange the training soon.
During the discussion, the institute also evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the weekend program in Electrical Engineering that has been delivered for Tana Beles Hydropower Plant workers.
