Bahir Dar, Ethiopia – August 3, 2024 – In a ceremony held today, Bahir Dar University proudly announces the graduation of 8,524 students (5488 males and 3036 females) across a diverse range of programs, yet again marking its significant contribution in providing the country with the required qualified human resource. The cohort includes graduates from regular, summer, continuous, and distance learning programs at various levels, from certificates to doctoral degrees.
The university's College of Medicine and Health Sciences saw the graduation of 58 specialty doctors and 4 sub-specialty doctors, alongside 6 graduates who earned certificates in medical leadership. This highlights the university's role in addressing critical needs in the healthcare sector and advancing medical education.
