Seminar presentation, “Research opens the door to the future: a personal account” by Professor Haupt
The seminar is a short presentation and a discussion that will take a maximum of two hours. Professor Haupt is an invited guest lecturer for PhD students under COTM stream.The Seminar is important to create an awareness on research ideas for PhD and MSc Students.
It will be held Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 3:00Pm (9:00 Local time) in Seminar Room Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (Poly Campus).
A short bio of Professor. Theodore Conrad Haupt
Prof. Theo C. Haupt, Ph.D., M.Phil. A research Professor: Engineering, Mangosuthu University of Technology, Durban, South Africa. He is DST/sarchi Chair on Sustainable work, education, environment & transformation (SWEET) in Mangosuthu University of Technology, South Africa. He has been working with ethikweni Chair: Sustainable Built Environment and Honorary Research Professor in Construction Studies in University of kwazulu-Natal, Newton Advanced Fellow. Prof. Theo C. Haupt is also involved Editor-in-chief, Journal of Engineering, Design and Technology (JEDT) and Overseeing Editor in Journal of Construction (joc), Scottburgh, South Africa. He is also Past Vice-President: Association of Schools of Construction of Southern Africa (ASOCSA) and Regional Director: CIB Sub-Saharan Africa and Senior Academic Advisor: ASOCSA-CIB Sub-Saharan Student Chapter.
