Program Description:
The program is designed to train researchers in the areas of agricultural mechanization engineering who can design schemes and conduct research to intensify smallholder farmers on farm operations through mechanization. Graduates will work as academicians, researchers, consultants, and policy makers in the field of agricultural mechanization engineering.

Admission criteria
Applicants must have Master degree in relevant field of study from a higher academic institution. They must also submit sponsorship letter or evidence of financial source to cover tuition and living costs upon application, and two recommendation letters (at least one of it preferably from former supervisors) and a synopsis showing once area of interest and research competence in the subject. Additionally, applicants should score the minimum pass mark on an entrance examination.
