Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT / BDU) signed Memorandum Of Understanding with Indian Institute of Science (IISc.)

Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University delegates have traveled to India to cultivate collaborative research between BiT and Indians institutions. On May 2, 2017, BiT’s scientific director – Dr. Nigus Gabbiye signed MoU with first ranked Indian University, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

The scientific director has highlighted in his presentation about the specific objective and outcome in the MOU towards strengthening the research collaboration activities especially for postgraduate and PhD programs at BiT/BDU.

Both Institutions / university sides, respective authorities and distinguished professors participated and enlightened the complete process of MOU.

In addition, the IISc distinguished professors have taken more efforts for the BiT/BDU delegates to visit the national advanced Nano-science and Engineering Laboratories, Center of Excellence for Energy, various specializations in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IEEE photonics, IEEE Power and Energy sections. Finally, the scientific director thanked to the international relation officers, distinguished professors and authorities of IISc and invited them to visit BiT/BDU soon.
