A workshop on biomarker challenge happened from October 31 to November 1 at Jan Moscov library. It was conducted by Prof Jim Haseloff from the University of Cambridge in collaboration with the ICT4D and the new Bahir Dar Makerspace at BiT.
Biomaker is bringing biologist, engineering, and computer science together to develop sensors. Biomaker Challenge at Cambridge is an interdisciplinary teams to build low-cost sensors and instruments for biology. The overall idea of biomarker is to build low cost scientific instruments, and real world tools for application in biology.
