Scholarship via ABE Initiative by Government of Japan and JICA

Assistant lecture and program manager of Civil Engineering, Mr. Tatek Yenehun, is listed as a successful candidate for 2nd batch Master's degree program in African Education Initiative for Youth (ABE Initiative). He is one of the 30 successful students among 90 potential applicants in the country.  The ABE initiative is run by the Government of Japan and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

On 14 Aug 2015, the embassy of Japan and JICA organized a farewell dinner reception at the residence of ambassador of Japan. The dean of faculty of Civil and Water Resources Engineering, Dr. Seifu  Admasu attended  this reception.

On this event, Dr. Seifu Admasu has discussed with Japan Ambassador and JICA chief representative on further collaboration and partnership, and offered the BDU Wisdom Cup to the ambassador of Japan in Ethiopia and the chief representative of JICA Ethiopia Office.
