Faculty of Civil and Water Resource Engineering
The graduate programs offer advanced instruction in basic and engineering sciences involving students actively in research. The engineering hydrology program deals: primarily, with the assessment of peak flows, low flows, volume of flow and the analysis of their viabilities and the planning and management of water resources. Studies in engineering hydrology include topics on hydrological processes and their measurements, surface and groundwater hydrology. Statistical and probabilistic hydrology, transport hydrology, and water resources systems planning and management.
Duration of the program
The applicant must have a B.Sc. Degree in Hydraulic/Water Resources/Irrigation/Civil/water supply/sanitary/soil and water conservation engineering or its equivalent and meet the admission requirements of the school of Graduate Studies. He/she must also pass the entrance examination administered by the Faculty. Regarding applicants from other related disciplines, the Faculty of Graduate Committee (FGC), will rule on the eligibility of such candidates.
