The Bahir Dar Institute of Technology at Bahir Dar University will host the International Conference on ICT for Development in Africa (ICT4DA 2025) from November 21–22, 2025. The event will bring together scholars, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore emerging technologies and their role in advancing development across Africa. The conference will feature keynote speeches, research presentations, workshops, and exhibitions from local and international participants.

The ICT4D Research Center at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology offers Cisco Networking training programs aimed at equipping students, graduates, and professionals with practical skills in networking, cybersecurity, and network automation. The training includes core CCNA modules and CyberOps Associate content, focusing on hands-on experience through labs and real-world configurations. Delivered in flexible schedules (often weekends), the program prepares participants for global Cisco certifications and careers in network administration, security, and IT infrastructure. Training is conducted by experienced professionals and supported by well-equipped labs at the ICT4D Center.
