ICT4D Research Center Won Lacuna Fund

We are pleased to announce that ICT4D Research Center, in collaboration with HausaNLP research group of Bayero University Kano, Rewire, Language Technology Group (LT) - Universität Hamburg, Masakhane and LIAAD INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory have successfully secured a Lacuna Fund grant to develop resources for Hate and Offensive Speech detection in 18 African Languages.

Call for Research Proposals [Deadline Extended for 5 days]

The ICT4D Research Center kindly invites the staff of BDU to apply for this call for Research proposals for possible funding in 2015 E.C.. The new research proposal shall address existing problems using ICT-related remedies and have a special relevance to development of the country. The final output of the research must be published in a reputable journal.

ስልጠናውም Introduction to React Native, Expo, npm, JSX፣ Native modules Basics የሚሉ ርዕሶች የተካተቱበት እንደ ነበር እና በሥልጠናውም ሰልጣኞቹ የተማሩትን የሚተገብሩባቸው የተለያዩ ተግባራዊ ልምምዶችና ፕሮጀክቶች በሰልጣኞች ተሰርተዋል።
ስልጠናውን ከመጀመሪያ እስከ መጨረሻ ድረስ ለተከታተሉ 25 ሰልጣኞች በማዕከሉ ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር እሱባለው አለምነህ አማካኝነት የምስክር ወረቀት ተሰጥቷል።
ዶ/ር እሱባለው አለምነህ ባደረጉት ንግግር የተሰጠው ስልጠና ለሁለተኛ ዙር እንደሚቀጥል ገልጸዋል።
