The training on road design, analysis and design of bridge and drainage structures delivered by the Faculty of Civil and Water Recourse Engineering, BiT-BDU has been completed.

The 20-day training provided by the Faculty of Civil and Water Recourse Engineering, BiT-BDU academic staff on road design using Autodesk Civil 3D, as well as bridge and drainage structure analysis and design using CSI Bridge Software for experts from the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure of various regions, was completed today.
Following the trainees' feedback, where they expressed gratitude to the Institute for organizing such training that provided them with additional excellent input for their work, Dr. Bimrew Tamrat, scientific director of Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, gave a closing speech in which he encouraged the trainees to apply what they had learned from this training to their work on the ground as well as to share and qualify their colleagues who do not get such opportunities.
The trainees were recognized for successfully completing the training and were also visited the new bridge under construction on the Abay River in Bahir Dar City.
