Bahir Energy Center conducts a two day Curriculum Review Workshop for PhD in Sustainable Energy Engineering on Friday, April 2, 2021 G.C.
The purpose was to harmonize the curriculum according to the new plan by The Ethiopian Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MoSHE).
MoSHE has proposed a new Home Grown Collaborative PhD Programs, HCCP, to graduate 5000 academicians in PhD in the coming five years.
To accoplish this research universities in Ethiopia are going to teach various disciplines in PhD as hosts and Co - hosts.
Bahir Dar University (BDU) selected to host PhD in Sustainable Energy Engineering with Jimma University (JU) and Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) as co - hosts.
In this workshop participants discussed on the curriculums at hand and reach a communal understanding with a course breakdown.
The center is the academic unit which is responsible for this program and is delighted to host it.
