The ICT4D Research Center kindly invites the staff of BDU to apply for this call for Research proposals for possible funding in 2017 E.C.. The new research proposal shall address existing problems using ICT-related remedies and have a special relevance to development of the country. The final output of the research must be published in a reputable journal.

ICT4D Research center is planning to offer a training on React Native. ย React Native (also known as RN) is a popular JavaScript-based mobile app framework that allows you to build natively-rendered mobile apps for iOS and Android. The training will be given for three months (once per-week-3 hours, Total of 36 hours) by trainers who have a hands-on experience on the framework. The in-person training will be scheduled on weekends and it will be provided in Bahir Dar Institute of Technology. |

ICT4D Research Center has ย provided a two-hour training on Artificial Intelligence(AI) and it's applications to Shumaba High School and Preparatory School students on December 7, 2014. ย In his opening remarks, Coordinator of Training, Mr. Yesuneh Getachew, highlighted the importance Artificial Intelligence and its potential for the future. Mr. Biniam Behailu provided detailed information on the nature on AI Technology, current state of AI and its applications, etc. |
