Bahir Dar Institute of Technology-Bahir Dar University hosted EXCEED-SWINDON Plenary meeting from 3 to 6 May 2016 at Blue Nile Resort Hotel, Bahir Dar.
The Plenary meeting gathered 26 professors from Mansoura University, Egypt; Maseno University, Kenya; Mekelle University,Ethiopia; University of Malawi, Malawi; University of Kara, University of Jordan, Jordan; Konya Necmettin Erbakan University, Turkey; Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil; Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany; Ain Shams University, Egypt; National University of San Juan, Argentina; University of Guadalajara, Mexico; Mutah University, Jordan; University of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Thuy Loi University, Vietnam; Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil; Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia; Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico; Akdeniz University, Turkey; P.R. China; Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand; and University of Lomé, Togo.
In the event, approval of new regional coordinators, reports from the regional coordinators, reports on joint research projects, and foundation of new association were done.
The plenary meeting was ended by foundation of the new Association (International Scientific Association for Sustainable Treatment of Water Resources) and establishing its executive board.
