Faculty of Civil and Water Resources Engineering at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology has celebrated the graduation day for Stakeholders sponsored graduate program students on Sunday 06 Dec, 2015 at the Institute Conference Hall. The faculty graduate a total of 105 students who are graduated in different specialization areas of Civil and Water Resource Engineering Disciplines. The graduate program were sponsored by Ethiopian Road Authority, Amhara Water Works Construction Enterprise, and Amhara Design and Supervision Authority
On his opening speech, the President of the University, Dr. Bayile Damtie said that graduation is a special and significant day for graduates and families. It celebrates the achievement of years of hard work and marks the crucial progress from student to alumnus. It's a day to celebrate with your family and friends, and one that you will remember for the rest of your life. The president added that you should be punctual, and loyal to you country. You should align your education with your skills; align your education with your goals; and most importantly, align your education on solving the problems of the country.
The ANRS President Office head, His Excellency Mr. Yayeh Addis congratulates the graduates and he stated that you should apply you knowledge to support the development of the country. You should work hard and apply you skill to support yourself, you family and the development plan of the country.
There were various invited guests in the graduation day; including the president, Scientific Director and Vice presidents of the university, Ethiopian Road Authority Vice Director, student families, deans, directors and instructors from different colleges and faculties.
