Workshop on 2015/2016 Six-Month Performance Evaluation

BiT has conducted the six month performance evaluation workshop at Gondar from 01-03  March, 2016.

The main objective of this workshop is to;

  • Evaluate and discuss about the performance of the institute on teaching-learning, research and community service activities,
    and collaboration and partnership.
  • Identify the major problems and challenges that the institute faced and propose counter measure solutions to avoid these
    problems.
  • Aspire and gain general consensus to execute together towards the institute strategic goals.
  • Show the duties and responsibilities of each section in the institute.

The Scientific Direction and the Managing Director jointly opened the workshop and give brief overview about the workshop objectives and expected outcomes. There were 60 participants for the workshop which include higher officials, Faculty Dean, Section directors, chair holders, section heads and other representatives in the institute.

There were group discussion, presentation and reflection session on the workshop that focused on detail SOWT based analysis for the institute performance. At the end, the Scientific Director presented Quick-win activities which indicate the action plans that should be performed and fulfilled soon in the institute.
