The Faculty of Social Sciences, BDU is holding the 11th International Conference under the theme 'The Role of Women and Youth in the Peace Building Process' in Dire Dawa city in collaboration with the Dire Dawa University, the British Council and the European Union. At the conference, 9 research papers and two keynote speeches will be presented. Representatives from government offices, universities, research institutions, competing political parties, civil unions, elders, religious leaders, youth and other members of society are in attendance.
