There will be a full day National Conference on Importance and Essences of Sustainable Academia-Industry “Platformism-Collaboration” – (in view of revitalizing the road sector service and solving its key problems); on April 16, 2022. It is scheduled to be held in Washera Hall (previously Hall 3), BiT campus. The faculty (FCWRE) in collaboration with the institute is organizing it. The conference is to be hosted by BiT-BDU with Ethiopian Road Administration - Road Research Center as a Co-host. The conference is the result of a due “Grand Proposal” written by faculty staffs to ERA-Road Research Center. With the joint motive and appreciable courage of the road research center leadership, it has been guided to start with a national conference as it had been found seeking so in its scope.

Expected outcome
A decision is expected to pass on ‘establishment of "Platformism" Academia-Industry collaboration’, which in its very essence, is going to be the first national experience. Awaiting is a decision to re-engineer and revitalize the road sector service of the nation on sustainable basis. A conference just destined!
