About the speaker

Henok Desalegn is a PhD student at Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Ethiopia, specializing in Road and Transport Engineering. He earned his MSc in Civil Engineering (Road and Transport Engineering) from Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Ethiopia in November 2017. On 22nd August, 2017, he presented his MSc research paper at the 4th Annual Road Research conference organized by the Ethiopian Roads Authority.
In July 2013, he earned a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. He is a lecturer at Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Faculty of Civil and Water Resource Engineering since August, 2013. Through the Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, and university industry linkage, he has been involved in 3 community service road design projects.
