About the presenter
Dr. Zelalem Alebel received his B.S. (AAU), M.S. (UW-Madison), and Ph.D. (UT-Austin) degrees in Civil engineering. He has participated in multiple research studies undertaken to evaluate different material properties and pavement characteristics focused on asphalt materials. Dr. Zelalem has published research findings on peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings primarily on asphalt binder and mixture characterization. He is currently Material and Geotechnical Services Manager at the City of Fort Worth, USA.
