Agreement of Cooperation undertaken between BIOT and Dashen Brewey S.C.

The IOT understand that there are ample opportunities to work together with the share company in the area of research, long & short time training University industry linkage (UIL)...etc.

On Behalf of the share company the gusts have appreciated the effort made by the institute and capacity the institute has in different aspects. After visiting the workshops and laboratories, they explain it in words “Although we are near in distance we have over looked the institute “.  

During the discussion, the 1st draft of the Memorandum of understanding (MOU) prepared by IOT was forwarded to the mini workshop. Both organization representatives were agreed fully to nominate an executive committee which will finalize the MOU and draft the road map to work together.  Finally, the scientific director has appreciated the effort made by the company for the last four year in hosting internship program more than any other company did.

The Institute held Annual General Meeting

The Institute of Technology at Bahir Dar University held a one day meeting at its campus on September 15, 2006 E.C. concerning on the beginning of new academic year 2013.

Though the newly joined academic staffs were the main target participants, senior staffs, school directors, program managers and the institute authorities were engaged.

The main objective of the meeting was to introduce new academic staffs with the Institution academic activities and

As a start Ato Fetahi Bekalu, who is the head of Human Resource at the institute, gave a detail overview on right and expecting duties from being membership in academic staff.

Ato Tsegaw Kelela , who is a head of Office of Registrar, on his turn clarified on how to carry out student grading activities which is currently supported with Student Information Management System (SIMS).

Lastly, Dr. Solomon T.Mariam(former Dupity Scientific Director) responded for varies questions raised up from participants.
